Caroline’s Skies is a long, rectangular shawl featuring scalloped edges, delicate lace and mirrored cables.
Inspired by the astronomer Caroline Herschel and her discoveries, the scallops are based on a lace collar she was pictured wearing, while the cables and lace represent her discoveries of nebulae and comets in the night skies.

Two skeins of fingering weight yarn will be needed. Sample uses Cascade Yarns Sorata.

Lace pattern is both charted and written.
